| Abstract: | The formulas which are used to calculate the disturbing gravity and the model truncation error are given，and the truncation errors of the Earth gravity field models of 36 degree，360 degree，and 2 160 degree are calculated in the radial and horizontal directions，and the trajectory disturbing gravity vectors，which are calculated with the Earth gravity field models of EGM96 and EGM2008 of 36 degree and 360 degree，are analyzed and compared.The results show that when using the Earth gravity field model to calculate the trajectory disturbing gravity，the lower the model degree and the trajectory points height are，the bigger the model truncation errors are;the coherence of EGM96 and EGM2008 is gradually descending along with the model degree rising.As a whole，the accuracy of EGM2008 is better than that of EGM96. |
