Abstract:Research results of environmental geochemistry in Yincheng salt mine of Hubei Province showed the pollution not only to water environment but also to soil environment caused by hydraulic mining and furthermore, leading to the secondary salinition of soil under the saline environment.The absorption of Cd by rice, perhaps, was changed. However, the specific_ion effect on absorption of K,Ca,P etc. by rice is not obvious.The effect of osmotic stress on rice was the most important reason for the decrease of rice yield and even the death of rice.
