| Abstract: | The damage phenomenon of pile foundation, the soil-pile-structure dynamical interaction, as well as the theoretical models and analytical methods of pile foundation response due to liquefaction-induced ground lateral spreading under the action of strong earthquakes are summarized in this paper .The existing problems in the field are pointed out, and the trends of future study are discussed. |
