| Abstract: | There are one late Triassic, three early to middle Jurassic, four Cretaceous, and two Paleogene conchostracan assemblages in Guangdong Province. They were found from the river and lacustrine deposits of eastern and western regions of this province. The Dongjiang(East River) originated in the late Early Jurassic and took shape in the Cretaceous, whereas the Xijiang(West River) appeared firstly from the early Late Cretaceous and took shape in the Paleogene. |
