Distribution of sulphur, and sulphide-iron and copper in bedrock associated with porphyry copper deposits, highland valley, British Columbia

Abstract:	A selective leach based on extraction with potassium chlorate-hydrochloric acid was used to investigate distribution of sulphide-iron and copper associated with the JA and Valley Copper deposits. Results emphasize patterns related to sulphide, versus total metal, and are shown to be consistent with mineralogical zoning in the deposits.
