| Abstract: | On the south side of Jiangnan uplift occurs a thrust-nappe system, which slides from north (or NNW) to south (or SSE), and moves towards the Pingle depression. On the north side occurs a gravitational gliding (or extensioning) -detachment system, which slides from south to north, and moves towards the Jianghan depression. Although both systems belong to the different tectonic systems, separately, they occur under the inhomogeneous tectonic stress compressioning in combination of the united regional structural stress with the thrust of weak layer fluid zone in uplift. This is the geological tectonic model of thrusting nappe on one side and gliding (or extensioning) nappe on the other side in overlying strata of middle section of Jiangnan uplift. |
