| Abstract: | The age of the Yimugantawu Formation has been regarded by different authors as Late, Middle or Early Devonian respectively, since it was named in 1956 in Tarim Basin. From the lower part of the formation we have found the conodonts such as Ozarkodina of. edithae Walliser, Ozarkodina sp. A, Lig onodina silurica Branson & Mehl, and determined the age of this formation of from middle Aeronian to Wenlock. |
