| Abstract: | Coordinate transformation is often needed in the practical use of digital maps, and it can be done in MapInfo-one of GIS softwares. This paper discusses the definition of coordinate system, methods of coordinate system transformation and its practical implement. The coordinate transformation which is often used in our country is also involved. Finally, the problems that should be further discussed are described. |
