摘    要:通过研究北京地区不同时期和不同时间尺度内地壳运动的规律性和特殊性,认为地震是北京城市未来发展中较为重要的潜在危机之一:(1)北京地区NE和NW向两组主控断层目前仍在活动,大多属继承性活断层;(2)45a来北京地区地形变具有北升南降和西升东降特点。地形变等值线的区域分布具有突出的上升区、下降区及高梯度区;(3)30a来断层活动具有明显的周期性,今后应进一步加强超短周期断层活动规律性的监测,以利于地震预报的研究;(4)目前北京地区仍处在本世纪60年代以来华北地壳强活动期内,推论今后发生较强烈地震的长趋势将依然存在。

Abstract:The regularities and specific characteristics of crustal movement of different time scale and periods in Beijing area are studied from geological data in connection with geodetic data. The results may be provided as an important basis for prediction of geologic hazards in Beijing urban area in future. It is suggested that earthquake may be a main potential hazard for future development in the urban area. The results show that (1 ): the NE-and NWtrending major faults are update still active and most of them are the inherited active faults; (2) the deformation pattern in BeiJing area for last 40 years exhibits uplift in the north and west part and depression in the south and east part. The distribution of crustal deformation contour shows its dominant uplift zone, depression zone and high gradient zone which can serve as the sound basis for prediction of earthquake and other geologic hazards; (3) the fault activity for last 30 years shows evident periodic pattern. For predicting future earthquake, a monitoring on the regularities of ultra-short period fault activity must be further taken; (4) the Beijing area is recently in a stage of high crustal movement in North China since 1960s, and hence there exists a long-time tendency of a stronger earthquake from now on.
