南海地区潜热输送与长江流域夏季降水的关系

摘    要:利用美国NCEP的1958--2006年高斯网格月平均再分析资料,以及国家气象中心的全国160站1958—2006年月平均降水资料,使用奇异值分解(SVD)方法,分析了南海及周边地区(简称南海地区,0°-20°N、100°-125°E)夏季潜热输送和长江流域夏季降水的相关关系。结果表明,南海地区夏季潜热输送与长江流域夏季降水呈显著负相关,显著相关的区域分别是南海中部和长江以北的川北、陕南地区以及以南的东部地区,潜热输送和降水都在20世纪70年代中期出现突变。典型旱、涝年潜热通量合成分析表明,南海中部潜热输送与降水也呈明显的负相关。

Abstract:Based on NCEP monthly reanalysis data from 1958 to 2006 and the rainfall data of 160 stations from 1958 to 2006 from National Meteorological Center of CMA, the correlation between latent heat transport over South China Sea (SCS, 0°--20°N, 100°--125°E) and summer rainfall in Yangtze River Basin (YRB) is analyzed with Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) and composite analysis. The results suggest that the latent heat flux over SCS in summer is negatively correlated to the summer rainfall in YRB, and the significant correlated areas are the middle SCS, the northern Sichuan, the southern Shanxi and the southeast of YRB. Both the latent heat flux and summer rainfall presented idiovariations in the middle of 1970s. The latent heat flux in the typical drought and flood years are compositely analyzed and the result shows that there also exists significant negative correlation between the latent heat flux and the summer rainfall in YRB.
