| Abstract: | In this paper the synthesis of Orth-ethoxyphenol by using Phase Transfer Catalysis (PTC) at different conditions has been studied. The result shows that the yield can reach as high as 70%. At the same time, the effect of various non-protonate solvents has also been investigated. This PTC technology can be easily operated and controlled. |
