| Abstract: | The course of development of the geophysical exploration of oil in China for the past thirty years since the founding of the People's Republic of China is briefly des-cribed in this paper. The technical and geological achievements are reviewed accord-ing to various stages, as the work started in West China and moved towards Northeast and North China historically.The authors try also to present their views with regards to the future of the appli-cations of geophysical methods to oil and gas exploration in China. |
