Abstract: | The pianoforte in the Mozarthaus at Salzburg is a state of the art instrument of the late 18th century. It was recorded photogrammetrically in order to enable fundamental musicological investigations to be carried out. An important aspect of the piano survey was high precision three dimensional point determination performed by combined bundle adjustment. The process was optimized by use of software tools for simulation, automatic error detection and graphical analysis of the adjustment results. This procedure considerably increased the efficiency and reliability of the photogrammetric reconstruction. |
