Shape constants for plume models |

| Abstract: | Two shape profiles are in common use in plume modelling to describe the variation of velocity and buoyancy across the cross-section of a stack plume. Conditions for equivalence of the Gaussian profile and the  top hat profile are discussed in detail. |
