| Abstract: | Mass-spectrometric determinations of the inert gas release from samples of the Allende carbonaceous meteorite heated in the range 300°C to 1100°C, followed by Raman spectroscopic studies of the 1360 cm?1 and 1580 cm?1 bands of carbon support the hypothesis that the gas release at high temperatures is causally related with ordering of carbon. |
