| 摘 要： | 利用1997-2006年我国分省区分年度数据,实证分析劳动力质量对外商直接投资区位选择的影响。采用广义最小二乘法拟合混合数据模型的结果表明,在控制了劳动力成本、市场规模、基础设施和开放度等变量后,劳动力质量与外商直接投资总额存在显著的正相关,这说明劳动力质量已成为决定外商直接投资区位选择的重要因素。20世纪90年代中期以来,在外商直接投资技能升级的背景下,区域比较优势已由低成本劳动力转变为高质量劳动力,大力提高劳动力质量是吸引新一轮外商直接投资的重要战略措施。

| Abstract: | This paper tries to reveal the impacts of labor quality on the locational choice of foreign direct investment into China under new backgrounds.A regression analysis is applied to pooled data including 31 provinces in mainland of China from 1997 to 2006,which result shows that regional labor quality is significantly positive to regional stocks of foreign direct investment under the control of such variables as labor cost,market scales,infrastructure and opening level.This result implies that labor quality has been an important factor that determines the locational choice of foreign direct investment into China.It is showed that regional comparative advantages have changed from labor cost to labor quality under the background of skill-upgrading of foreign direct investment into China since middle 1990s.Therefore,it is an important measure to raise regional labor quality to attract foreign direct investment. |
