Abstract:In order to improve the positioning accuracy and reliability,it is necessary to use information from neighboring epodes or other kinds of possible measurements.On the basis of the analysis of function model and stochastic model in a chosen time window the extended Kalman filtering(EKF) recursive equations for in the cases with and without Doppler measurements were derived and compared with each other by use of real vehicular GPS data.The result shows that the PSP can indeed reduce the measurements noise and thus improve the positioning accuracy,while the EKF with Doppler measurements can significantly enhance the accuracy and reliability in elevation component.
