长白山古冰川、冰缘地貌的研究

摘    要:白头山是中国东部发育末次冰期冰川的代表性地点之一。它发育在70000aB.P.形成的火山锥体上。遗留有古冰斗、冰川槽谷、终碛垄等遗迹,地形雪线高度为海拔2200m,属火山口(锥)冰川,时代为晚更新世晚期。该区是中国东北两大现代冰缘区之一,属中纬度垂直冰缘带,冰缘营力以寒冻风化为主,发育了十多种冰缘地貌类型。冰缘带的下限可确定在暗针叶林的下界,约与年平均气温0℃的等温线相一致。

A STUDY ON THE PALEO-GLACIAL AND PERIGLACIAL LANDFORMS IN CHANGBAI MOUNTAINS

Abstract:M. Baitoushan in Changbai Mountains is a typical spot of developing glacier of last glacial epoch in the northeastern China. The glaciers developed on the special geological, geomorphological. background of volcano. It was developing on a volcanic cone which was at above 2 200 m in elevation and formed about 70 000 aB.P. The paleo-cirque, glaciated valley, end-moraine ridge and scattered moraines have been left behind. The snowline elevation of landform is at 2 200 m and the glacier belongs to a type of volcanic cone (crater) glaciers.Mt. Baitoushan in Changbai Mountains is one of the two present periglacial areas in Northeast China, and belongs to the vertical periglacial zone of middle latitude. It is determined by the special volcanic geological, geomorphological and climate conditions. The major periglacial force is frost weathering and gelifluction seems relatively weak. There are more than 10 periglacial landforms. The basic limit of periglacial zone is defined at about the lowest boundary of dark coniferous forest zone, which is corresponding to the defining of the south boundary of present periglacial zone of the eastern plain in Asia at the 0℃ isotherm of annual mean temperature (about 48°N).
