| Abstract: | In this paper we study a particular four-body problem: three bodies revolve around their center of mass in circular orbits under the influence of their mutual gravitational attraction, while a fourth body moves in the plane defined by the three bodies but non influencing their motion. The linear stability of the eight equilibrium points is studied, and it is found that it depends on the values of the masses. |
