| Abstract: | An experiment on large scale rock rupture was made by Chinese, Russian and American scientists on December 9 to 18, 1992 in Moscow. A wealth of data were obtained through the experiment. This paper outlines the course of this experiment, describes in detail the methods and instruments used in the experiment and the authors~1 impression and understanding of the experiment. And it also points out some suggestions about how to develop the substantive cooperation in science and technology between China and Russia. |
