| Abstract: | Oregon's agricultural land preservation program emphasizes the importance of commercial agriculture to the state's economy. Statewide zoning requirements and farm use incentives are designed to protect commercial agriculture from fragmentation and conflicting uses. While the state has invested significant staff and funding commitments over nearly a decade, the program's long-term effectiveness still faces difficult tests. |
