| 摘 要： | INTRODUCTIONThe focal mechanism is usually determined from P-wave first motion polarities.When theearthquake is small and the network is sparse,the determination is difficult.In calculating focalmechanism,P wave polarity data near the nodal plane is needed in order to constrain the spatialposition of the nodal plane of seismic waves.As anintrinsic nature of P wave radiation pattern,the Pwave becomes weaker when nearer to the nodal plane and the direction of its initial motion becomesindi…
