摘    要:随着遥感技术、计算机技术和网络技术的发展,在应用需求牵引下,以GoogleEarth为代表的3维虚拟地球得到迅速发展和应用.对此,主要讨论了几个主要3维虚拟地球系统及特点.结合地理信息服务技术的发展趋势,介绍了自主研制的开放式虚拟地球集成共享平台GeoGlobe及其应用特点,阐述了虚拟地球技术与应用的发展趋势.
