Abstract:In this paper we have considered the structure of a thick perfect fluid disk of constant density rotating around a Schwarzschild black hole and its stability under axisymmetric perturbation. The inner edge of such disk cannot lie within 4m. The critical γc for neutral stability is found to be much less than 4/3 indicating that the disks are generally stable
