| Abstract: | The natural zeolite has the special ionic exchange characteristics, which makes it possible to remove ammonia nitrogen in waste water. The authors summarized the literature in the fields of modification by natural zeolite from the years of 2001 to 2007, the literature covered the discussions of varies locations, different characteristics, and varied applications of the natural zeolite in China. The modified methods are mainly ionic exchange, roasting modification, mineral surface modification and carrier modification. |
