| 摘 要： | 湖北省矿产资源丰富，具有矿产种类多、规模大、分布相对集中、供（伴）生矿多、部分大宗能源和急需矿产资源不足的特点。其中探明储量丰富，能满足经济发展需要，保证程度高的矿产资源有磷矿、岩盐、石膏、石灰岩、饰面石材等；储量较多，多经济发展需求大，保证程度不高的矿产资源为铁、铜等；储量少，保证程度差，社会发展需求量大的是煤、石油、天然气等能源资源，矿业经济已在湖北省经济发展中起着重要。同时，矿业活动也带来了

| Abstract: | The abundant mineral resources in Hubei Province are characterized by large variety, large scale, relatively concentrated distribution, and many paragenetic and accompanying mineral ores, but by a deficiency in some energy in great demand and some badly_needed mineral resources. Such mineral resources as phosphorus, salt, gypsum, limestone and decorative stone materials in Hubei Province are abundant in the proved reserves, so that they can meet the needs of economic development, and secure a high successful rate in their supply. However, the iron and copper in Hubei Province are relatively abundant in the proved reserves, and are in great demand, but they have a low successful rate in their supply. Such energy resources as coal, petroleum and natural gas are poor in proved reserves, and have a low successful rate in their supply, but they are in the greatest demand in Hubei Province. The mining industry has already played an important role in the economic development in Hubei Province. At the same time, the mining activities have also brought to the society a series of environmental geological problems. Therefore, the effective ways to ensure the sustainable development of the mineral industry and economy in Hubei Province can be summarized as follows: the optimization of mineral resources structure, the increase in the utilization ratio of traditional mineral resources, the attention paid to the research and development of the non_traditional mineral resources and the consolidation of the environmental protection. |
