| 摘 要： | 本文报导的亚洲象化石,发现于贵州铜仁,代表这一物种在该省地层中的首例记录。在我国,贵州是以脊椎动物化石丰富和重要而称著的省份之一,但文献不集中,参考不便利。为此,作者集中了该省全部属类及其地质地理分布的主要资料,并讨论了相关问题,以冀为该省的进一步发现或研究提供一个初步的基础。

| Abstract: | The asiatic elephant( Elcphas maximus) fossil(M3) , reported in this paper, was discovered from Tongren County, Guizhou Province. This is the first discovery in the strata in this province.
In many references , many vertebrate fossils had been discovered in Guizhou Province in the past. In order to make people use the scientific discoveries very conveniently, the writers .have given a complete bibliography of the classification, the geological and geographical distribution of all the vertebrate fossils in this area( Map 1), and discussed some related problems. |
