| Abstract: | Placename research can discover the inherent scientific value of the placename;provide the important basis for scientific research.The placename cartography is commonly used in placename research.The placename derived from surname can be analyzed in this way.Some surname origins can be recounted.Distribution and migration of this surname population can be learned.This paper analyzed placename derived from surname Zhang with the aid of the GIS software.The data analysis with grids cartography could reflect the crowded degree,the density changes status,and the macroscopic distributed rule of surname Zhang village.The data analysis with spatial smooth interpolation could reflect the distributed condition,the change tendency of surname Zhang village ratio. |
