摘    要:本文通过对采自陕南镇巴地区下寒武统水井沱组中一类形态奇特的骨板化石的详细研究,认为它是属于生物内部构造的一部分,而不是完整的生物个体。它们的功能及在生物体中的存在方式与海绵骨针类似。关于这类骨板化石确切的分类位置现在还很难定论。目前暂将其置于海绵动物门中,作为一个形态属进行描述和讨论。现描述一属,7种。

A KIND OF STRANGE BONE LAMELLA FOSSILS FROM THE EARLY CAMBRIAN IN ZHENBA COUNTY SOUTH SHAANXI

Abstract:The strange bone-lamella fossils described and illustrated in this paper were isolated by etching with 10-15% acidic acid from the limstoae whichwas collected by the writers from the lower cambrian Shuijingtuo Formation in Zhenba county, South Shaanxi. The other associated fossils are Trilobites, Bradoriids, Hyolithids, Brachiopods), inarticulata), Sponge spicules and so on.The main characteristics of the bone-lamellay fossils are as follows: 1. Small size, 0.2-3.6 mm, usually 0.5-2mm, 2. Phosphatie solid bone lemella with one to more U-shaped gaps, 3. Surface smooth or rough, without any ornaments, 4. Outline varying from round through ellipse to more complex shapes, 5. Very finely holes well-distributed in sections, 6. The arrangement of the gaps irregular. Based on the features above, it is inferred that these fossils may be just part of the sclerites of an animal body. This kind of fossils is somewhat similar to the scle-rites ( plates ) of Holothuroideas in the shape and size. Judged from the main characteristic, the bone-lamella fossils are comparatively similar to some Sponge spicules, especilly to desma. It is suggested that this kind of fossils should belong to the ph-yllum Porifera at present, and a new form of genus-Liyongella is established. Inthis paper one new form of vgenus and seven new morphologic species are included.
