| Abstract: | Eighteen types of benthic foraminifer communities inhabiting depths of 0–200 m are described for the Persian Gulf including
the analysis of 269 sampling sites. The species area is mostly localized by the geographical position and bathymetrical features,
including the water masses advection, the upwelling, the river discharge, and the concentrations of CaCo3 and Corg in the bottom sediments. |
