| Abstract: | In recent months the media has been drawing attention to the possibility of a dangerous eruption of the Teide Volcano on Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Before accepting this prediction, which may well be detrimental to the tourist-based economy of the island, it would be wise to examine the evidence on which it is based. |
