| 摘 要： | 地名作为一种特殊的文化符号,对承载历史意蕴和传承城市文化有着重要的意义和作用。文章选用1983年版和2003年版1 ∶ 5000荔湾区行政区划图,通过对比来反映广州老城区荔湾区地名的变更,发现经过20年快速城市化和城市内部发生的深刻变化,计有437个因各种原因已经消失的地名,348个新增地名,全区地名总体变化比率达到近43%;在变更的地名中,反映广州市荔湾区经济社会变化的地名最多,而消失的地名中则多属于历史街区地名。这些都深刻揭示出在现代化快速城市化变化背景下,大城市发展、更新过程中诸多内在的规律,进而为城市有序发展、历史地段合理有效地保护提供有价值的参考。 |
