Abstract: | This paper discusses the isomorphous substitution phenomenon of aluminium in bauxite and laterite geothite in some regions of Guangxi, and uses x-ray diffraction analysis method to measure its substitution ratio. This geothite is named alumogeothite. In this paper, the author points out, in the geothite which forms under the oxidizing condition of earth's surface, that the substitution phenomenon is fairly common, the range of the substitution ratio reflects the geological environment and plysicochemical conditions while it's forming, the high substitution ratio is closely related with the high maturity laterization, especially with lateritic bauxite. Once that aluminium enters into geothite's lattice, the stability effect will appear, aluminium will not separate out itself before the mineral dissolves or changes into other minerals. Therefore, to study these not only can determine its forming environment, but also even has important significance on the calculation of bauxite mineral weight and the effective exsolution ratio, and on the reasonable option of industrial application circuit. |
