Abstract: | We show that semi-detached close binary systems with massive (4–25M⊙) black holes are formed in the evolution of massive stellar binaries in which the initial mass of the primary exceeds ~25M⊙. The mass exchange in such systems is maintained by the nuclear evolution of the donor and by its magnetic and induced stellar winds. The donor in such systems can be a main-sequence star, subgiant, non-degenerate helium star, or white dwarf. The evolution of corresponding systems with black-hole masses of 10M⊙ is investigated. |
