| Abstract: | Reserves of pyrite ore in coal bearing series in Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan Provinces account for more tan 1/3 of total reserves of pysite ore in China, and the reserves in Sichuan Province amount to 1/2 of total reserves of the tree provinces Pyrite ore eserves in coal bearing series in Sichuan concentrate in Yibin and Luzhou Active mining of pyrite ores for tens of years has caused enormous destruction of geological environment around the mines This paper discusses present situation of geological environment around the mines, South Sichuan in order to call attention to environmental protection |
