| Abstract: | he EPMA image process program is used to accommodate the quantitation of ore mineralsin polished sections. This new computerized technique is able to discriminate ore mineralsautomatically,and the back scattering image obtained is processed to make a binary image andanalyzed for area percent of minerals and chemical composition. |
