Lightning Characteristic Analysis and Warning Based on Radar Data |

| Abstract: | The analysis of characteristics for the lighting activity process,the intensity of radar echo,echo top and vertically integrated liquid is carried by using Doppler radar data and lightning location networks in Nanjing from June to August in 2009.The lightning warning factor which is suitable for Jiangsu summer（from June to August） is got.The results show the echo intensity of 40 dBz reaches 7 km above,VIL meets 25 kg/m2,wind field shows strong convergence ascent motion before the lighting,echo top is in the 9 km above when the thunderstorm occurs.It has been found that the combinative analysis of four parameters can play better warning effect. |
