| Abstract: | The presence of unknown bacteria upon filaments of the CyanophyteOscillatoria rubescens was observed in the Lake Leman (Lake of Geneva) during Autumn 1985. Conditions of this colonization and the morphology of the association are described. These bacteria probably belong to theCaulobacter group.
