| Abstract: | Based on the study and comparison of remote-sensing images and metallogenicgeologic conditions between the Qaidam Basin,the known potash salt deposits,and Lop-Nur,the predicting area, a field investigation have found out that there is a large or a superlargepotash salt deposit in Lop-Nur area. This is a successful example for prospecting by using re-mote-sensing technique. |
