广西南部晚古生代放射虫组合及其地质意义

摘    要:广西南部钦州、玉林一带硅质岩系中丰富的放射虫化石,可区分出晚泥盆世、早石炭世和二叠纪的11个放射虫组合。晚泥盆世-早石炭世的组合可与北美和西欧对比。二叠纪组合与以日本为代表的环太平洋放射虫组合和西西里、滇西等地的古特提斯放射虫组合一致,表明了古特提斯与原太平洋之间的联系。

LATE PALEOZOIC RADIOLARIAN ASSEMBLAGES OF SOUTHERN GUANGXI AND ITS GEOLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE

Abstract:Well preserved Late Paleozoic radiolarian faunas were obtained from the chert sequences in Qinzhou-Yulin area, southern Guangxi. In particular, 10 radiolarian assemblages from late Devonian to late Permian were discovered from the Tianche section of Bancheng district, 40 km north of Qinzhoui These are: Late Devonian Entactinia-Entactinosphaera assemblage; Early Carboniferous Albaillella paradoxa assemblage and A. cartalla assemblage; Early Permian Pseudoalbaillella chilensis assemblage, P. elegans assemblage, P. lomentaria assemblage and P. scalprata m. rhombothoracata assemblage; Middle Permian P. fusiformis assemblage and Follicullus monacanthus assemblage; and Middle-Upper Permian F. scholasticus assemblage. Moreover, the Late Permian F. charveti assemblage was obtained from the top part of foe chert sequence in Dachonglin section of Xiandong district, 30 km north of Qinzhola. The Late Devonian and Early Carboniferous radiolarian faunas in southern Guangxi are very similar to those in North America and western Europe. The Permian faunas can be well correlated with the Permian circum-Pacific deep-water faunas, which were also reported from the western Tethys (Sicily, ltaly). It should be noted that, the similar Early Carboniferous and Permian radiolarian faunas were also found from western Yunnan and western Qinhai. Therefore, the eastern PaleoTethys can be traced from southwest China to southern Guangxi and reaches to ProtoPacific. On the other hand, how it connected with the western Paleo-Tethys remains unsolved.
