摘    要:海面粗糙度对于海洋工程和海洋军事非常重要,但是海面粗糙度的现场观测资料非常少,波长更难观测。本文利用TOPEX高度计风速资料,实现了对海面粗糙度的反演。给出了一种提取波长的方法,通过验证表明利用该方法得到的波长精度较高。

Abstract:The roughness of sea surface expresses the characteristics of surface undulation that caused by the wind.The difference of roughness reflects the changes of wind fields.Under open sea conditions the roughness of sea surface is described as a function of surface stress and speed over the sea surface by the Charnock relation.The roughness of sea surface in the Pacific Ocean is derived successfully using wind speed data estimated by TOPEX satellite altimeter.From the results we find that: 1) the mean sea surface roughness is greater in winter and smaller in spring;2) the mean sea surface roughness is greater in the zone of west erlies and smaller near the equator.The wavelength is extracted successfully using the sea surface roughness and wave height data from practical measurement.
