| Abstract: | Mud formed from fine cohesive sediments can have various flocculate smicthes.It's density depends on the condihons of deposition and consolidation.In recent years,for research on estualy and coast mud, various values of mud density or sediment deposition concentration are Paid more attention and a lot of information on them have been accumulated. Based on the electron-Chemical theory of fine sediment flocculation, the expression of cohesive force between grains was deduced.The incipient formulas for shear stress and velocity were established. The results are compared with those currently used and the data measured in experiments and coincided to each other. These functions may be used to describle the variations of threshold values of mud with different dopsiting densities and are easy to use. |
