摘    要:本文根据1984年3月至1985年2月在厦门港中挂放杉木、松木和柯木试板,研究该港船蛆Teredo navalis数量的时空变化,并讨论了不同污损生物、水温、盐度等对船蛆密度的影响。

Abstract:The panels removed of fouling organisms had increased quantity of shipworm with depth and larger percentage of bored panel with submerging times. The quantities of shipworm in the panels that the fouling organisms were cleaned periodically were obviously larger than those in the panels that the fouling organisms were not cleaned. There was a different seasonal pattern between the destity of shipworm and the percentage of bored panels. The reason is that the quantity of shipworm is influenced by several environmental factors such as the fouling species, temperature and salinity. The fouling organisms influenced the quantity of shipworm by serving as a mechanical barrier for shipworm larvae. Of the different groups of fouling organisms, the barnacles are the most effective agents hindering the attachment of shipworm larvae. The dense mat of byssus threads of mytilus also act as mechanical barrier against the entrance of shipworm larvae. In addition to competition of substrate ,there is a mechanical influence between teredo navelis and other borers. Temperture is a major influence on the activities and distribution of shipworms and a limiting factor in growth and reproduction. Salinity is a limiting factor in horizonal distribution of shipworm ,which is obvious in quantity.
