| Abstract: | A model oscillator for irregular stellar variability presented by Tanaka and Takeuti has only one singularity in the original form. We show it has three different types of singular points when damping terms are ignored. The nonlinear pulsation of Baker's one-zone stellar models is discussed in comparison with the properties of the Tanaka-Takeuti oscillator. |
