| Abstract: | The surface resistance of a pine forest to ozone uptake is calculated from aircraft data obtained in southern New Jersey. The resistances are 130 and 300 s m-1 for the afternoon and early evening, respectively, in good agreement with estimates used by Galbally and Roy (1980) in their calculation of global surface destruction of ozone. |
