摘    要:含柯石英超高压变质岩的发现是陆过 幔深部俯冲的岩石学语气也揭示了深部变质深种物折返地表的可能性。超高压变质岩的开 折返机制是当前地球科学中最有挑战性的前沿课题之一,具有深刻的大陆动力学意义。

Abstract:The discovery of coesite in the UHP metamorphic rocks is a petrological evidence of the subduction of the continental crust to mantle depth, which also indicates the possibility of the exhumation of deep metamorphic rocks to crustal level. The mechanism of the formation and exhumation of the UHP metamorphic rocks is one of the most challenging frontiers in contemporary geosciences,which is significant for continental dynamics. The characteristics of coesite and quartz pesudomorphs after coesite from eight UHPM rock localities in the world, and the research fruits on coesite from microstructure phase transformation dynamics and rheology in the last decades were discussed in this paper.
