摘    要:详细介绍了南开大学虚拟数字校园系统的开发过程。采用基于影像的建模方法,即通过高分辨率数字航空影像进行建筑模型提取和数字高程模型建立。在此基础上,结合GeoVRML、数据库和Cortona控件技术完成整个系统的开发工作。

Abstract:The process of the development of Nankai university virtual digital campus system was given in detail in this paper. The authors adopted an image-based method to obtain the models, which was to extract building models and digital elevation model by high resolution digital aerial photos. On the basis of this, the whole system development work was completed by using the combination of GeoVRML, database and Cortona ActiveX technologies.
