| Abstract: | Leshan City is rich in nonmetallic minerals and poor in metal and energy mineral resources. According to this situation and to the dependence of national economy on mineral resources, the present paper deals with position and role of minerl resources in the national economy and makes a suggestion of "vigorously develop mining industry by science and technology and strengthen administration". |
