| 摘 要： | 有的学者将各种畸形砾石称之为“冰川变形石”，并作为中国东部第四纪冰川作用的证据。畸形砾石并非冰川成因，不能作为第四纪冰川作用的证据。它们的真正成因是与各种原岩机械破碎时结构面软科学性质及后来运移过程中外营力的改造作用密切相关。

| Abstract: | Various distorted gravels were called glacier deformed stones by Li Siguang (J.S.Lee) and his supporters and were taken to be the evidence for Quaternary glaciation in eastern China. Because of lack of some knowledge of rock mechanics and soil mechanics, several conceptional errors appeared in their argumentation for the formation mechanism of various distorted gravels. The distorted gravels are by no means of glacial origin and can not be considered as an evidence for Quaternary glaciation. Their real origin is closely related with mechanical properties of structural faces during mechanical rupture of primary rocks and consequent reworking by external agency in the process of transportation. |
