| Abstract: | The Sumatra earthquake generated Tsunami was the most powerful tsunami to hit the earth in 40 years. The death toll from the devastating tsunami in Asia has reached 300 000, which raised a worldwide international relief action. The damages as well as the national and international response to this disaster were introduced .Suggestions for the future development on the governmental emergency response ability were also discussed in this paper. |
